Founder & CEO
With over 30 years in the construction industry, Tex founded NRX Asphalt on the belief that honest work and Christian values build lasting relationships. He transitioned from a successful pharmaceutical career to pursue his passion for construction — and never looked back. Tex is personally involved in every project, ensuring NRX's reputation for quality is upheld on every job site across North Carolina.
Mike Reynolds
Operations Manager
Mike oversees day-to-day operations across all active job sites, coordinating crews, equipment, and materials to keep projects on schedule and on budget. With 18 years in heavy civil construction, he brings the organizational backbone that lets NRX take on multiple large-scale projects simultaneously without sacrificing quality.
David Carter
Project Superintendent
David is the boots-on-the-ground leader who ensures every project meets NRX's exacting standards. From grading to final striping, he manages crews with a hands-on approach honed over 15 years in asphalt and road construction. His attention to detail and commitment to safety make him an invaluable asset to every project he touches.
James Patterson
Safety Director
James leads NRX's safety program with an unwavering commitment to zero incidents. He develops and enforces safety protocols, conducts regular training, and ensures every crew member goes home safe at the end of the day. His OSHA certifications and 20 years of experience make safety a competitive advantage for NRX, not just a checkbox.
